Unity Of Opposites

the first concept is related to the collective unconscious. the theory states that the mind holds memories and impulses that are common to mankind as a whole.
Carl Jung believed that human beings are connected to each other and their ancestors through a shared set of experiences.
‘anima’ and ‘animus’ are gender specific structures in the collective unconscious that are related to gender identity. the concept includes the potential in women to develop masculine and men to develop feminine elements within themselves

it says potential to, because of course it is not mandatory to do so. however a lot of people feel like they are doing something “wrong” if they try and embrace the opposite archetype, & that’s something they really shouldn’t care about.
Carl Jung's concept symbolises the male and female energy which cannot be separated, and how important they are for each other. it conveys the unity of opposites in the universe. the artwork is also a homage to the concept of live and let liv, best said by the J Cole’s lyricism below.
there’s a lot of hate online, some of it said as a joke, but most of it isn’t. either way, we can’t really assume how the person targeted will react if wearing, doing or believing in something makes them happy then it’s really none of anyone's business.

even if it might not align with your personal/religious beliefs, it’s best to let people be. a hate comment isn’t going to transform their belief systems anyway.
